Nathan Bonslaver, Berks alumnus and cofounder of CarToCamp, worked with Invent Penn State's OriginLabs to develop a new prototype of his car sleeping platform product.

In the latest episode of Invent Penn State’s “Dare to Disrupt” podcast, host Ryan Newman interviews founder and CEO of West Shore Home, B.J. Werzyn. West Shore Home is one of the largest direct-to-consumer home remodelers in the nation with over 37 locations in 18 states.

Entrepreneurial teams with at least one Penn State student can apply to receive a $15,000 grant to work on their startup, social good or nonprofit over the summer through Invent Penn State’s Summer Founders Program. Two virtual information sessions will be held, Jan. 17 and Feb. 21, for individuals considering participation to learn more about the program, the application process and summer life in Happy Valley.

Penn State student startup teams from all Penn State campuses are invited to apply to the 2024 Invent Penn State Inc.U Competition for a chance to compete for a $30,000 prize pool. Applications are open from now until Jan. 19.

Charlee Murdock, a veteran, Hazleton area community member, and single mother of three, launched Project Headway LLC, offering low-cost haircuts to people in need. Hazleton LaunchBox supported by Pasco L. Schiavo, Esq. has played a large role in the growth of Murdock's startup.
